Three miles of the Foothills Off-road Vehicle (ORV) Trails system are closed for public safety concerns. Timber harvest activities are scheduled in the area, which will increase heavy truck and equipment traffic. It is important for recreationists to honor the closures for their own safety and that of those working in the area.
For your safety, please follow the signs on the trail system to alternate routes.

The Foothills Trail system includes 6 miles of ORV trails. They are nestled below Hurricane Ridge, approximately 5 miles south of Port Angeles. The portion of the trail closed includes a 3-mile loop in the eastern section of the system (see map) and is clearly marked with signs.
Riders are encouraged to visit Sadie Creek Trail System with more than 30 miles of motorized trails.
