The citizen-based Naneum Ridge to Columbia River Recreation Planning Committee wants to hear from you about what recreation opportunities you would like to see in the DNR-managed Naneum Ridge State Forest and WDFW’s  Colockum, Quilomene, and Whiskey Dick Wildlife Areas.

Take the survey now! Survey closed January 4, 2013.

The 230,000-acre recreation area (map) is located near Ellensburg and Wenatchee. It attracts people from across the state for its unique ridges, pine forests, and shrub-steppe landscape that holds many recreation and wildlife viewing opportunities.

Your voice counts. This survey comes in the middle of a recreation planning process that began in April 2012. The survey results will guide a citizen-based recreation planning committee as it works to improve recreation access and opportunities.

The survey asks a variety of questions about how you currently spend your time in the recreation area and what opportunities you would like to have in the future. The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete, and the results will be posted online.

Hurry, the survey closes January 4, 2013.

So remember, dream big and let your voice be heard!
