Motorized trails in Reiter Foothills Forest are one step closer to becoming a reality.

Today, DNR announced the completion of the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) public review process. Now, we can move on to the next steps: applying for permits from state and local agencies and seeking funding.

Like many of you, we are excited to move forward with this long-awaited project. Once completed, Reiter Foothills Forest will offer a variety of opportunities for motorized and non-motorized recreation that are fun, challenging, and sustainably managed.

More details about this recent milestone are in today’s news release.
